I do hereby certify that Chaplain John Ault of the 126th Reg. pa. Vols. who received leave of absence, for 20 days, from Maj. Gen. hooker, dated january 17th, 1863, on account of ill health, is still, through convalescent, absolutely unable to return to his Regiment. by a slight exposure he has had a return of his throat and bronchial infections, which will entirely unfit him for travel for the next thirty days. Dated at Loudon, this 7th day of April, 1863.
